What I do
My mission is to increase equitable economic opportunity for individuals and communities. I do this by conducting research, facilitating programs, and developing and advising on strategies that work to improve the relevancy, delivery, and accessibility of postsecondary education and supportive services.
How I do it
I document postsecondary education strategic planning initiatives and lessons learned to support improved student outcomes and field building
I develop research frameworks and conduct qualitative inquiry to understand practices, policies, and context that support learners to achieve their postsecondary and career goals
I support philanthropies to develop mission-aligned grant making strategies
I provide advisory support to social impact organizations to ensure the centering of learners and workers
I facilitate cross-team reflections to elevate learnings and amplify best practices of change management
I work with organizations to align internal work streams to more effectively and collaboratively meet goals that benefit learners and workers
Why I love it
I am disturbed by the variance in opportunity available to people based on circumstances entirely outside of their control. I also recognize that too often, learners and workers are not at the center of research, policy, grantmaking, and program development. I am inspired to create space and opportunity for all Americans to thrive, in whatever way that means to them.
I enjoy simplifying complex topics, facilitating reflective and change management oriented conversations, supporting team alignment, and getting into the weeds of a project.
